Job Description
Vonage is seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of security controls and processes that protect Vonage’s systems and data. This role is crucial for ensuring the company's information security strategy is proactive and resilient.

The role involves:
  • Identifying and analyzing security risks in systems, processes, infrastructure, and applications.
  • Designing, enhancing, and implementing security controls and processes.
  • Supporting the development and execution of information security policies and standards.
  • Monitoring security systems for potential threats and responding accordingly.
  • Contributing to the design and maintenance of a strong security architecture.
  • Delivering security awareness training.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in a security-related role.
  • Deep understanding of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA).
  • Proficiency with firewalls, endpoint security, mobile device management, and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security concepts (AWS, GCP), networking protocols, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
