Job Description
Juno Veterinary is seeking a Practice Manager to join their Founding Team and lead a brand new clinic located at 333 Eglinton Ave in Toronto. This role reports to the Clinic Operations Lead and is responsible for ensuring the clinic operates optimally across all people, functions, care, and member experience. The Practice Manager will collaborate with the in-clinic Lead Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to ensure maximum collaboration and cohesiveness across all functions of the clinic.

  • Representing the team and ensuring their perspective is visible.
  • Collaborating to create a regular cadence of communication and meetings.
  • Ensuring member escalations are addressed promptly.
  • Leading the implementation of the Juno Brand Tenets.
  • Creating and managing clinic schedules.
  • Participating in the utilization and evaluation of innovative technology.
  • Approving and monitoring timesheets for payroll.
  • Managing relief coverage as needed.
  • Aiding in conflict resolution.
  • Leading activities that support the well-being of the in-clinic team.
  • Ensuring inventory supply levels and resources are optimal.
  • Fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.


Requirements:
  • 3+ years of leadership role experience with a passion for people leadership.
  • Previous veterinary experience required.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Managerial courage and the ability to do the hard things first.
  • The ability to create a sense of belonging and strong team morale.
  • The skill set to establish open dialogue, feedback, and collaboration.
  • The ability to create trust and gain confidence through connection, integrity, and authenticity.
  • Experience in managing labor plans and budgets.
  • A collaborative go-getter attitude.
