Sr. Thermal Engineer

Job Description

NZXT is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Thermal Engineer to help develop innovative cooling solutions. This role is based in Banqiao, Taiwan, and requires an onsite presence. The Sr. Thermal Engineer will be responsible for the architecture, design, analysis, prototyping, and validation of cooling solutions for desktop, mobile, and wearable systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.Role involves:

• Desktop and peripheral products thermal design
• Designing air/air and liquid/air cooling solutions
• Defining thermal policy and control algorithms
• Developing analytical models of thermal systems
• Driving component selection
• Optimizing cooling solutions
• Developing validation test plans
• Conducting tests and communicating results
• Reviewing and maintaining DFMEA and test standards
• Driving development programs
• Optimizing design for cost and reliability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electronics cooling
• Proficiency in Creo and 6SigmaET simulation
• Experience with engineering drawings
• Familiarity with cooling technologies
• Knowledge of desktop and peripheral products architecture
• Ability to multi-task
• Project Management Knowledge
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics
• Experience in cooling electronics
• Proficiency with Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite
