Job Description
Airtable is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team in Austin, TX. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in the office. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for generating qualified pipeline and identifying new opportunities to expand Airtable's customer base. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Airtable's vision and helping customers realize the value of the platform. Responsibilities:
  • Qualify prospects through calls and emails.
  • Respond to inbound leads and provide feedback to marketing.
  • Partner with Account Executives on territory planning.
  • Complete account research and create lead lists.
  • Work with marketing on event outreach and webinar registrations.
  • Articulate Airtable's value proposition to potential customers.
  • Understand the responsibilities, pains, and challenges of primary personas.
  • Run qualification calls to identify good-fit prospects.
  • Test and validate new outbound strategies.
  • Develop strong sales skills and product knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of sales or related experience.
  • Track record of success in a metric-driven environment.
  • Ability to balance multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively.
  • Self-starter with motivation to expand sales knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and seeks out feedback.
  • Experience creating outbound messaging and measuring results.
