Job Description

BDA is seeking an Account Manager to manage Olympic Sponsorships. The Account Manager will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The primary focus will be on understanding the clients’ needs and objectives, recommending suitable merchandise solutions and programs, and ensuring the successful execution and on-time delivery of projects. This role requires a deep understanding of the sports industry, sponsorship dynamics, and merchandising strategies.

The individual in this position will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to drive revenue, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen client relationships. By fostering strong relationships and providing valuable promotional solutions, the Account Manager significantly contributes to the growth and success of BDA and the client’s marketing and branding goals.

Role Involves:

  • Managing contact and opportunity database
  • Building, developing, and nurturing relationships with current clients
  • Assisting in developing proactive strategies, presentations, and pitches for clients
  • Executing Strategic Account Plans
  • Delivering results by achieving short and long-term sales and profitability goals
  • Ensuring ease of process and high levels of professionalism when interacting with internal partners
  • Understanding the BDA business units and processes for each to evaluate appropriate business opportunities
  • Monitoring competitive products and marketing activities

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of positive Account Management or Business Development experience
  • Experience ensuring compliance with the IOC’s and/or USOPC licensing or branding standards for Olympic merchandise or promotional materials
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and business opportunities through client development
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver client presentations
  • Ability to work with assigned budgets and forecasts
  • Energetic self-starter
