Class 3A Driver/Warehouse Material Worker

Job Description

Farmers Business Network (FBN) is seeking a Class 3A Driver/Warehouse Material Worker to contribute to the success of FBN by playing a critical role in the order fulfillment and delivery of FBN products to customers. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of orders, plan trips effectively, complete necessary paperwork, comply with health and safety regulations, and act as an ambassador for FBN.Role involves:

• Performing pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles.
• Coordinating loading and unloading sequences.
• Verifying product labels, documentation, and weights.
• Loading and unloading trailers.
• Ensuring cargo is secured properly.
• Operating vehicles in accordance with safety policies.
• Assisting customers with loading and unloading.
• Ensuring all bills of lading are signed and in order.
• Practicing good housekeeping.
• Performing warehouse duties such as order processing, inventory cycle counts, and receiving.

Requirements:

• 3+ years Minimum Class 3 with air, Class 1 preferred.
• CDL license with DG endorsement an asset
• Customer service focused.
• Rural driving experience is an asset.
• 2+ years warehousing experience.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety First mindset.
• Ability to work outside in variable temperatures.
• High level interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Forklift experience (preferred).
• Skid Steer Certified (preferred).
• Prior TDG and WHMIS Certification an asset.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
