Job Description
Pirate Ship, a company that provides simple shipping software for small businesses, is looking for a Social Media Manager, also known as the Tall Tales Teller. The Social Media Manager will work alongside the founders of the company to disrupt the trillion-dollar shipping industry and make business more fun for the next generation of e-commerce startups.Responsibilities:
  • Partner with creative and marketing teams.
  • Lead the social media team.
  • Lead the ways our brand engages on social media.
  • Express the brand in fun, engaging ways across all social channels.
  • Make our audience superfans.
  • Find ways for paid posts to enhance organic content.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the market.
  • Help people on the edge engage with the brand.
  • Share your experience, expertise and interest with the crew.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of social media experience.
  • Avid TikTok and Instagram user.
  • Team-player, but self-driven & independent work style.
  • Sense of humor for fun interactions.
  • Familiarity with content marketing.
  • Holistic view of branding and social.
  • Experience in high-growth startups, preferably e-commerce.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
