Job Description
Scale is seeking a Head of or Senior Director of Corporate Development, Finance to join their Corporate Development and IR team. This role involves evaluating M&A and investment opportunities, driving new capital investments, and managing the company’s investor base. The candidate will work closely with the CEO and CFO to develop and execute the company’s inorganic growth strategy, as well as support the Finance team in refining the investor narrative and conducting investor outreach.

What this role involves:
  • Analyzing Scale’s strategic objectives and industry trends to identify and recommend companies for acquisition.
  • Educating executives and General Managers on technology trends and markets.
  • Managing all stages of M&A and strategic deals, including sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, execution, and integration.
  • Building relationships with internal cross-functional teams.
  • Performing market research to identify new investment trends and opportunities.
  • Leading the creation of investor materials and managing relationships with existing and potential investors.
  • Ensuring the company is strategically positioned with analysts, investors, and stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of financial analysis experience in Corporate Development and investment banking within the technology industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Hedge Funds / Venture Capital / Growth Equity firms.
  • Deep understanding of B2B businesses.
  • Excellent project management skills and executive presence.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing analysts, investors, and advisors.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Suite, MS Office, and expert Excel modeling skills.
