Job Description
Zinnia is seeking a full-time Application Support Specialist to provide technical support services to clients primarily based in North America and Canada. The role involves troubleshooting application issues, maintaining logs, training customers, and communicating with the product development team. The candidate will investigate user problems, develop solutions, and escalate unresolved issues as needed. They will also undertake regular training and stay updated with new technology.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting application issues.
  • Keeps log of troubleshooting steps and tracks open tickets.
  • Trains customers and peers on product use and support.
  • Communicates and resolves customer support issues in a timely manner.
  • Investigates user’s problems and develops solutions.
  • Communicates customer suggestions to the product development team.
  • Escalates unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.
  • Undertakes regular training in technical and interpersonal areas.
  • Keeps up to date with new technology and methods.
Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience in technical support or IT.
  • Proficient in web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical clients.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with good organizational skills and ability to take initiative.
  • Ability to work after normal business hours.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any stream
