Moniepoint, a leading African financial ecosystem, is seeking a Portfolio Manager for its Cross River, Nigeria location. This role involves overseeing the loan portfolio, leading a team of Field Credit Officers, and ensuring effective credit risk management. The Portfolio Manager will collaborate with various departments to maintain credit policies and drive loan disbursement and repayment.
Responsibilities: - Supervise and mentor Field Credit Officers.
- Set performance goals and objectives for the team.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance.
- Ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures.
- Conduct credit risk assessments.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare portfolio performance reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Develop relationships with business clients and stakeholders.
- Identify process gaps and recommend enhancements.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in lending, credit, or portfolio management.
- 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in credit risk and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
- Proven track record in managing a loan portfolio.
- Must be resident in Cross River State.
