Job Description
Moniepoint is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee the loan portfolio and lead a team of Field Credit Officers in Gombe, Nigeria. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for setting performance targets, managing credit risk, and driving business growth. They will collaborate with other departments to ensure successful loan disbursement and repayment.Role involves:
- Supervising and mentoring Field Credit Officers.
- Developing and implementing strategies to grow the loan portfolio.
- Monitoring portfolio performance and identifying potential risks.
- Ensuring adherence to credit policies and procedures.
- Preparing portfolio performance reports.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Maintaining strong relationships with business clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in lending, credit, or portfolio management.
- 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in credit risk analysis and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
- Proven track record in managing and growing a loan portfolio.
- Must be resident in Gombe State.
