Moniepoint is seeking a Field Credit Officer in Kwara State, Nigeria. The Field Credit Officer will be responsible for onboarding and managing businesses that access credit products, growing the loan portfolio, and ensuring loan repayment. This role involves assessing businesses during credit applications and monitoring their performance. The officer will also make recommendations to management regarding loan actions, considering economic factors.Responsibilities:
  • Identify and onboard viable businesses.
  • Engage customers to ensure optimal account usage.
  • Review and approve or decline loan requests.
  • Visit potential borrowers' business places for evaluation.
  • Meet gross loan portfolio and profit targets.
  • Monitor active loan portfolio.
  • Perform other credit-related functions.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role for credit products in a financial institution.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
  • A good knowledge of financial analysis is an added advantage.
  • Must be resident in Lagos.
  • Apt attention to details.
  • Proven simple/complex analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Agility and perseverance.
