Program Manager II

Job Description

ExtraHop is seeking a Program Manager II to join their Release Train Program Management team. In this role, the Program Manager II will partner with engineering and product teams to coordinate and execute release plans across multiple product lines. They will act as a servant leader, facilitating scrum ceremonies and managing sprint cadences. The Program Manager II will also drive program tracking and reporting, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product, Engineering, QA, and Release teams to coordinate and execute release plans across multiple product lines.
• Act as a servant leader, helping teams plan and facilitate scrum ceremonies, as well as organize and manage sprint cadences, ensuring teams are aligned, unblocked and focused.
• Drive program tracking and reporting, delivering clear and consistent updates across various levels of the organization.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful and timely delivery of product releases.
• Maintain and optimize engineering calendars and project schedules, balancing velocity with quality.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency and continuous improvement across teams.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years experience in program or project management within a software or hardware engineering environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in cross-functional settings.
• Ability to influence without authority and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.
