ExtraHop is seeking a Systems Engineer II to build and operate infrastructure for delivering software and hardware appliances. The role involves collaborating with software, quality, and release engineers to ensure correct software deployment. The Systems Engineer II will manage engineering code repositories, install and maintain hardware and networking infrastructure, and validate future hardware product decisions. They will also ensure 24x7 availability of services and infrastructure.

Requirements:
2+ years experience with Linux operating systems and enterprise server hardware.
1+ years of experience in a datacenter or colocation facility.
Experience with virtualization infrastructures (e.g., VMware, KVM).
Knowledge of networking and application protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, LDAP, TLS/SSL).
Direct experience with Git version control systems.
Exposure to infrastructure and configuration management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Security-oriented mindset.
Ability to work on-premise up to 4 days each week in Seattle.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to the datacenter in Kent, WA.
