Software Engineer – Marketing Platform (Full Stack)

Job Description

Betsson Group is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Marketing Platform team in Malta. The candidate will be responsible for delivering scalable solutions that empower marketing teams. The role involves being part of an agile, cross-functional team focused on innovation and continuous improvement.

• Participating in analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of web-based solutions.
• Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Developing integrations and prototypes for advanced platforms.
• Maintaining and extending the digital environment of Betsson Group.
• Ensuring quality and consistency of applications.
• Upgrading, configuring, and debugging existing systems.
• Providing technical support for web applications.
• Troubleshooting problematic code.
• Staying updated with evolving technology and improving platform architecture.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in software or web development.
• Strong backend experience in PHP or Python using frameworks like Symfony, Laravel, CakePHP, or Django.
• Solid front-end experience with JavaScript, especially frameworks like Vue.js or Angular.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with good time management and organizational skills.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work well across cultures.
