Job Description
Betsson Group is seeking a Product Owner to join their product management team, focusing on industry-leading gaming products and platforms. The Product Owner will report to the Product Manager and will be responsible for specific parts of the product offering and key initiatives on the product roadmap. They will collaborate with engineering teams, product designers, data analysts, and stakeholders to continuously improve products and the user experience.
Role involves:
- Producing detailed product specifications in the form of user stories.
- Leading the product discovery process for assigned initiatives.
- Assisting in organizing and prioritizing the product development backlog.
- Contributing to the product vision and championing it with stakeholders.
- Ensuring proper analytics and data collection mechanisms are in place.
- Providing product support to the development teams.
- Communicating product releases and development status.
- Holding demos and trainings for new product concepts and releases.
- Maintaining product documentation and wikis.
- Performing user acceptance testing.
- Continuously reviewing the live product for improvements.
- Learning the market & customer needs through data and customer feedback.
- Assisting and driving the team to follow Agile principles best practices.
Requirements:
- A relevant academic degree or qualifications; preferably technology and/or business related.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role.
- Prior experience in the gaming industry will be considered a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience working with agile and remote development teams.
- Comfortable and confident working with both the technical and commercial sides of an organisation.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent decision-making skills.
- A team player capable of building positive working relationships.
- A keen eye for detail and a user-centric mindset.
