Gaming - Product Owner

Betsson Group is seeking a Product Owner to join their product management team, focusing on industry-leading gaming products and platforms. The Product Owner will work under the guidance of the Product Manager, taking ownership of specific product areas and key roadmap initiatives. They will collaborate with engineering teams, product designers, data analysts, and stakeholders to enhance products and user experience.

The role involves:

• Producing detailed product specifications as user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Leading product discovery, including hypothesis generation and requirements gathering.
• Assisting in organizing and prioritizing the product development backlog.
• Contributing to the product vision and championing it with stakeholders.
• Ensuring proper analytics and data collection mechanisms are in place.
• Providing product support to development teams.
• Communicating product releases and development status.
• Conducting demos and training sessions.
• Maintaining product documentation.
• Performing user acceptance testing.
• Identifying areas for product improvement.
• Learning market and customer needs.
• Driving the team to follow Agile principles.

Requirements:

• A relevant academic degree or qualifications.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience with agile and remote development teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• A team player with a user-centric mindset.
