Backend Software Engineer - Web3

Job Description

Betsson Group is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative iGaming products leveraging Web3 technologies. The role is based in Tallinn and involves working within a development team to ensure system consistency and a great user experience.

The Backend Developer will be involved with:

• Participating in sprint planning, task estimation, development testing, code reviews, and software deployment.
• Maintaining and improving existing software.
• Designing code and unit tests.
• Managing SQL and NoSQL data models.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a backend developer.
• 3+ years of developing backend systems, preferably in .NET/C# with knowledge in ASP.NET Web API.
• Proficiency in SQL Server or Postgres, including writing queries and tuning performance.
• Experience with blockchain integrations.
• Experience in designing and implementing distributed and multi-tier systems, understanding SOA principles and service-oriented environments.
• Knowledge in automated testing and continuous integration.
• Experience with agile/lean methodologies for continuous delivery and improvement.
• Confident in both written and spoken English.
