Job Description
Betsson Group is seeking a Tech Lead to drive technical excellence in its products. This role bridges the gap between domain architects and engineering teams, facilitating technical design, decisions, and delivery. The Tech Lead will support managers in building world-class engineering teams through hands-on involvement in researching new technologies, leading technical investigations, and developing POCs.

The role involves:
  • Identifying and championing technical improvements.
  • Ensuring architectural alignment and implementation.
  • Developing a strong understanding of business and products.
  • Leading technical design decisions.
  • Taking a hands-on role in technical initiatives and issues.
  • Producing POCs and documented technical designs for new product development.
  • Researching new technologies.
  • Reviewing major changes.
  • Serving as a key technical point of contact.
  • Participating in technical interviews and providing feedback.
  • Coaching and mentoring engineers.
  • Participating in team ceremonies.
  • Leading technical training.

Requirements:
  • Strong technical background in software engineering for web applications.
  • Expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and Web Markup (CSS3/HTML5).
  • Deep understanding of Observable technologies (RxJS preferred).
  • Experience with large-scale applications, including SDK & FE components architecture, modularisation, efficient application bundling, unit testing, and integrating with backend APIs.
  • Expertise in delivering high-performance web solutions on an international scale, including SSR mechanisms and optimizing content delivery with CDNs and caching.
  • Experience in defining and documenting technical solutions around front-end architecture.
  • Ability to efficiently review PRs and provide constructive feedback.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring.
  • Knowledge of modern agile software development practices, GIT based projects, and CI/CD.
