BX - Engineering Tech Lead

Job Description

Betsson Group is seeking a Tech Lead to drive technical excellence in its products. This role bridges the gap between domain architects and engineering teams, facilitating technical design, decisions, and delivery. The Tech Lead will support managers in building world-class engineering teams through hands-on involvement in researching new technologies, leading technical investigations, and developing POCs.

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying and championing technical improvements.
• Ensuring architectural alignment and implementation.
• Leading technical design decisions.
• Taking a hands-on role in technical initiatives.
• Supporting new product development with POCs and technical designs.
• Researching new technologies.
• Reviewing major changes.
• Serving as a technical point of contact.
• Participating in technical interviews and providing feedback.
• Coaching and mentoring engineers.
• Participating in team ceremonies.
• Leading technical training.

Requirements:

• Strong technical background in software engineering for web applications.
• Expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and Web Markup (CSS3/HTML5).
• Deep understanding of Observable technologies (RxJS preferred).
• Experience with large-scale applications, including SDK & FE components architecture.
• Expertise in delivering high-performance web solutions.
• Experience in defining and documenting technical solutions.
• Ability to review PRs and provide constructive feedback.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring.
• Knowledge of agile software development practices, GIT, and CI/CD.
