BX - Engineering Tech Lead

Job Description

Betsson Group is seeking a Tech Lead to drive technical excellence in its products. The Tech Lead will bridge the gap between domain architects and engineering teams, facilitating technical design, decisions, and delivery. This is a hands-on role that involves researching new technologies, leading technical investigations, and developing POCs for new ideas.

The role involves:

• Driving technical excellence in the domain.
• Identifying and championing technical improvements.
• Working closely with architects to ensure alignment with architectural direction.
• Taking the lead on technical design decisions.
• Supporting new product development.
• Reviewing major changes to ensure they are up to standard.
• Serving as a key technical point of contact for the domain.
• Helping build world-class teams through technical interviews and feedback.
• Leading technical training sessions.

Requirements:

• Strong technical background in software engineering for web applications.
• Expertise with TypeScript / JavaScript and Web Markup (CSS3/HTML5).
• Deep understanding of Observable technologies (RxJS).
• Experience working with large-scale applications.
• Expertise in delivering high-performance web solutions.
• Experience in defining and documenting technical solutions around front-end architecture.
• Ability to efficiently review PRs and provide constructive feedback.
• Experience coaching and mentoring people.
• Knowledge of modern agile software development practices.
