Job Description
Betsson Group is seeking a Data Engineering Tech Lead to join their team in Budapest. This role involves working closely with Architects, Engineers, Product Managers, and Engineering Managers to ensure high-quality deliverables and mentor team members. The Tech Lead will drive technical improvements within the teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with architects to implement the set direction.
  • Align with other tech leads for technical consistency.
  • Participate in sprint planning, development, testing, code reviews, and deployment.
  • Identify and design application improvements.
  • Help build the team through interviews and mentoring.
  • Stay updated with technology and its implementation.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Work with Product Managers.
  • Maintain and evolve the data platform.
  • Involve in data integrations.
  • Ingest streaming data and apply transformations.
  • Follow data standards for data modeling.
  • Ensure data quality.
  • Troubleshoot problems and manage incidents.
  • Take full ownership of projects.
  • Document defined standards and architecture.


Requirements:
  • University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Good learning mindset.
  • Ability to set priorities and multitask.
  • Experience with technologies like Python, Snowflake, AWS.
