Job Description
Betsson Group is seeking a Data QA Engineer to join their new Data QA Engineering team. This role is crucial for ensuring data reliability and accuracy within the data governance strategy. The ideal candidate will be a technical data expert ready to contribute to a consolidated Data Platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain data quality monitoring frameworks.
  • Generate reports and support Data Stewards in validation and quality assurance.
  • Design and develop automated data quality validation scripts.
  • Define and monitor key data quality metrics through data profiling.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of data quality issues and collaborate with data engineering teams.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data quality with a focus on implementation and monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of data quality methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in defining and implementing data quality controls.
  • Strong experience in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with Selenium or similar testing tool.
  • Familiarity with Data Integration tools such as Apache NiFi and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
  • Proficiency with documentation platforms like Confluence.
