Job Description
Betsson Group is seeking an Incident Engineer to join their LiveOps (NOC) Team in Malta. This role is crucial for maintaining service availability and performance for customers. The Incident Engineer will act as the first point of contact for production incidents, ensuring the smooth operation of Betsson Group's systems.
Responsibilities:
- Detection, correlation, and analysis of events.
- Executing mitigation steps.
- Managing Betsson Group’s ticket system.
- Dispatch and escalate tickets.
- Maintaining frequent notifications and ticket updates.
- Direct contact with 3rd party providers.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail with good analytical thinking.
- Well-rounded general IT knowledge in Windows/Linux/SQL/Cloud computing and Virtual environments.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
