Job Description

Betsson Group is seeking a Senior Backend .NET Software Engineer to join their Gaming Area. The Gaming Area focuses on Game Play and Game Discovery across all brands and markets, aiming to offer the best gaming products and user experience. The engineer will play a key role in preparing the platform's journey to containerization and increasing system scalability.

The role involves:

  • Preparing the gaming platform for containerization.
  • Increasing the scalability of systems.
  • Maintaining high quality of systems.
  • Re-evaluating system design and working on new features.
  • Building a scalable, multi-brand platform to support 25+ online brands.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a backend developer.
  • Experience with C#, .NET, .NET Core.
  • Strong API integration skills.
  • Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Unit testing frameworks.
  • Experience with Messaging within a microservice architecture.
  • Experience with Cloud environment e.g. AWS, Azure etc.
  • Experience with Agile development.
  • Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ (preferred).
  • Experience with a modern front-end framework (e.g. Angular) (preferred).
  • Experience with Docker containerization (preferred).
  • Experience with Domain driven design (preferred).
