Job Description
Betsson Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Backend Engineering Tech Lead to join their Sportsbook B2B & Integrations Value stream. This role is based in Malta and involves participating in the development of complex tasks, ensuring high-quality delivery, and driving technical excellence within the Sportsbook team. The Tech Lead will collaborate with architects, align with other tech leads, and identify technical improvements.
Role involves:
  • Participating in development, testing, and code reviews.
  • Bug fixing and implementing new features.
  • Maintaining and improving existing functionality.
  • Coaching and mentoring engineers.
  • Staying up-to-date with technology trends.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in development.
  • Deep understanding of C# and .NET framework/core.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience deploying scalable back-end solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration.
  • Expertise with distributed systems and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Understanding of coding best practices, caching, CDN, and infrastructure.
