Job Description

FLYR is seeking a Backend Engineer to join its Offer Team in Amsterdam. The engineer will work on a new Offer Product, combining flight and ancillary services into personalized offers for travelers. This role involves building new product capabilities for the Commerce Engine/Offer product using Golang and other technologies, integrating existing legacy services into a new architecture, and providing technical expertise in product design and delivery.Responsibilities include:

• Building new product capabilities using Golang.
• Integrating existing legacy services into new architecture.
• Evaluating products, frameworks, platforms, and APIs.
• Providing technical expertise in product design and delivery.
• Making accurate estimates for upcoming work.
• Working in a product-focused scrum team.

Requirements include:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in languages like Golang, Python, C/C++, Java, etc.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL storage (PostgreSQL, Redis).
