Software Development Engineer-II (Backend)

Innovaccer is seeking a Software Development Engineer II (Backend) to focus on health IT interoperability. The engineer will collaborate with other engineers to build services that enable customers to send and receive data across the healthcare IT ecosystem. This role involves developing efficient interoperability services, identifying best practices, participating in the project lifecycle, and improving platform performance and engineering standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop efficient interoperability services for Innovaccer applications.
• Identify and communicate best practices.
• Participate in the project lifecycle from prototyping to delivery.
• Analyze and improve the performance, scalability, stability, and security of the platform.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with a start-up mentality.
• Understanding of AI in speeding the development process.
• Expertise in Python and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with HL7 FHIR or other healthcare IT interoperability formats.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
