Staff Engineer (Master Data Management)

Job Description

Innovaccer is seeking a Staff Engineer specializing in Master Data Management to contribute to the development of their next-generation MDM platform. The ideal candidate will lead the architecture and development of the core MDM engine, focusing on data modeling, matching algorithms, and governance workflows.

Role involves:

• Collaborating with data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams to define system architecture and design.
• Architecting and developing scalable, fault-tolerant MDM platform components.
• Designing and implementing entity matching and merging algorithms.
• Developing flexible data modeling frameworks.
• Creating robust data governance workflows.
• Building data quality monitoring and remediation capabilities.
• Developing REST APIs and integration patterns.
• Mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices.
• Leading technical design reviews and contributing to the product roadmap.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in MDM solutions.
• Experience creating or contributing to commercial MDM platforms.
• Deep understanding of MDM concepts.
• Strong expertise in Java, Scala, Python, or Go.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of data integration patterns and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of cloud-native development and deployment.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Strong understanding of data security and privacy considerations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
