Lead Interoperability Engineer

Job Description

Innovaccer is seeking a Lead Interoperability Engineer to design, develop, and implement back-end services supporting interoperability-related data flows. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background and experience in creating new service frameworks, along with an understanding of health IT interoperability standards. This role involves designing and deploying interoperability services, providing guidance to team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Role involves:

• Designing and deploying interoperability services
• Ensuring efficient interoperability goal achievement
• Providing design and development guidance
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Staying updated with industry trends
• Sharing learnings with product and engineering teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of experience in healthcare-related engineering
• Deep understanding of HL7 FHIR
• Familiarity with interoperability standards (HL7 v2, IHE XCPD/XCA, Direct Messaging, and C-CDA)
• Expertise in Python
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to travel
