Job Description
Backbase is seeking a Regional Lead - Digital Strategy Consultant to join their Value Consulting team. This team is composed of entrepreneurial and digital consultants focused on transformational selling and strategic advisory within the financial services sector. The consultant will drive strategic consulting engagements with top-tier to mid-size banks and credit unions, addressing complex business and technological challenges. They will create compelling long-term visions, financial business cases, and value-driven implementation roadmaps using the Backbase Platform. The role involves engaging with executive teams to accelerate decision-making and foster long-term customer relationships.
Role Involves:
- Engagement Management: Lead strategic customer engagements, delivering high-impact sessions and workshops.
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct strategic and financial analysis, applying business design and management consulting best practices.
- Market Research & Insights: Stay updated on financial services and digital banking trends, contributing to thought leadership.
- Consulting Tools, Content & Frameworks: Create and maintain Backbase-specific tools and best practices.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as a (digital) strategy consultant.
- Street smart and digital savvy with a can-do mentality.
- Superior analytical, quantitative, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience with customer-centric methods and financial analysis.
- Experience in designing and optimizing banking processes.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize, plan effectively, and work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
