Job Description

Backbase is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join their Identity value stream team. The ideal candidate will develop software, create clean and maintainable code, and help build and expand Backbase's product. The Backend Engineer will integrate the Backbase platform into customer systems, focusing on the back-end implementation, and provide technical solutions to complex issues.

Role Involves:

  • Integrating the Backbase platform into customer systems.
  • Providing technical solutions to complex issues.
  • Analyzing current codes and industry developments.
  • Coaching a team of developers and providing training.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Java Backend Developer.
  • Solid experience working in enterprise projects.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, Rest APIs, Microservices, containerization, CI/CD, design patterns and automated tests.
  • Passionate about embracing AI/ML tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, and IntelliJ (AI).
