Junior Backend Engineer (for Product Support)

Job Description

Backbase is seeking a Junior Backend Engineer to join their team in Krakow. The successful candidate will collaborate within diverse, multi-disciplined teams, composed of highly skilled developers, supporting Backbase's customer base. This involves engaging with enterprise banking products through cloud-native Java technology, and utilizing both Angular/Typescript and JavaScript. Backbase operates in a hybrid work model, requiring all candidates to be based in Kraków.

Role Involves:

• Engineering solutions through code fixes or configuration changes tailored to specific customer issues.
• Being proactive and self-driven.
• Working as an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or a similar/related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent English speaking, writing, and presentation skills.
