Job Description
Backbase is seeking a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of the entire life-cycle of certain features and components, from Discovery to Launch. The Senior Product Manager will define and communicate product strategies, roadmaps, and plans, working closely with customers and the field to identify and validate development opportunities, before collaborating with technical colleagues to deliver new capabilities.
What this role involves:
- Creating and communicating a clear strategy for product development.
- Translating product strategy into clear goals.
- Defining short and long term product roadmap.
- Managing stakeholder expectations around product delivery.
- Monitoring product performance and inform improvement plans.
- Owning the product life-cycle.
- Collaborating with technical leads, UX and Research teams, Customer Success, Sales colleagues and capability owners.
Requirements:
- Relevant background as a Product Manager.
- Passion for the customer.
- Ability to identify, articulate and prioritize different types of customer and business value.
- Ability to listen and interpret the needs of different stakeholder audiences.
- Experience presenting to both internal and external stakeholder audiences.
- Experience working with data.
- Ability to make tough decisions and trade-off calls.
- Understanding of market trends and emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of non-functional requirements and performance levers.
- Experience working in the digital banking, financial services sector or with financial products.
