Backbase is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Services team in Manila. The Business Analyst will work closely with customers and the Backbase UX design and Development team, analyzing, capturing, and prioritizing requirements for new customer experience initiatives. This role is crucial in helping customers realize their vision.
The role involves:
Gathering, defining, and prioritizing project requirements in collaboration with the client.
Running requirements definition workshops to define customer's business requirements.
Writing functional requirements using use case specifications or user stories.
Performing business process gap analysis and managing requirement changes.
Acting as a product owner to guide the team in making the right choices.
Acting as a trusted consultant to clients and implementation partners.
Requirements:
University degree in business or IT.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably in digital banking.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a client-facing position.
Experience in requirements management and/or process modeling.
Knowledge of multiple development methodologies (SCRUM, RUP, Kanban, Waterfall).
Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
Perseverance and pragmatism to solve complex problems.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment.
Flexibility regarding work location and willingness to travel abroad frequently.
