Job Description
Backbase is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Services team. This role is crucial in helping customers realize their customer experience vision by working closely with them, the Backbase UX design team, Solution Architects, and the Development team. The Business Analyst will report to the Chapter Lead of the Services ASIA Hub.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather, define, and prioritize project requirements in collaboration with clients.
  • Run requirements definition workshops to define customer's business requirements and processes.
  • Write functional requirements using use case specifications or user stories.
  • Perform business process gap analysis and manage requirement changes.
  • Act as a product owner to guide the team in making the right choices for project and customer success.
  • Act as a trusted consultant to clients and implementation partners.


Requirements:
  • University degree in business or IT-related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably in digital banking or digital solutions.
  • Passion for client-facing roles and comfort in facilitating workshops.
  • Experience in requirements management and/or process modeling.
  • Experience in 'as-is' and 'to-be' modeling, and gap analysis.
  • Knowledge of development methodologies such as SCRUM, RUP, Kanban, Waterfall.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
  • Perseverance and pragmatism to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural and international environment.
