Job Description
Backbase is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to define essential requirements for customers to achieve their objectives and realize their customer experience vision. The Senior Business Analyst works closely with customers and development/SCRUM teams, acting as the customer’s proxy product owner. They guide the team in making the right choices to maximize project and customer success. Backbase's clients and implementation partners see them as a trusted consultant.
Role involves:
- Analyzing, capturing, and prioritizing customer requirements for new customer experience initiatives.
- Identifying product improvements and harvestable features.
- Defining and actively improving best practices.
- Providing guidance to clients on product usage and customization.
- Managing expectations and translating vision into a sound project backlog.
- Leading engaging workshops to identify functional requirements.
- Contributing to the BA Chapter/Guild and mentoring Junior Business Analysts.
Requirements:
- University degree (business or IT related preferred).
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience working with digital banking products (commercial or business banking).
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Good analytical and evaluative skills.
- Organizational and cultural sensitivity.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ability to execute product gap analysis.
- Knowledge of requirements management, process modeling, and development methodologies.
