Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Backbase, a leading Fintech company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Manila. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for effective coordination and communication among all project stakeholders. They will also manage relationships with Financial Services customers/partners and advise clients on implementing online applications using the Backbase Solution.

The Senior Project Manager will have multiple squads of engineers at their disposal and will produce and maintain project estimations, plans, statements of work, and change requests. The project teams will consist of talented individuals, including BA's, Solutions Architects, and UX designers.

Role involves:

• Providing effective coordination and communication among project stakeholders
• Managing relationships with Financial Services customers/partners
• Advising clients on implementing online applications
• Producing and maintaining project estimations, plans, and statements of work

Requirements:

• At least eight years of Project Management experience in delivering digital projects
• Experience with critical path method (CPM)
• Experience in managing complicated clients
• Experience with senior-level stakeholder management in an international environment
• Experience in distributed and remote agile delivery
• Hands-on team management and collaborative leadership style
• Full understanding of the web application/software development lifecycle, including UX Design
• Great presenting and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with Jira, Google suite, and PM tools
• Willingness to travel frequently to visit customers onsite
