Senior Solution Architect

Job Description

A Dubai-based company is seeking a Senior Solution Architect. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that envisaged solutions become reality, acting as a client-facing expert comfortable in both technical workshops and sales presentations. The Senior Solution Architect will play a leading role within the development team, translating customer requirements into distinguished designs and providing guidance to the team.

The role involves:

• Translating customer requirements into a distinguished design.
• Focusing on security, deployment, performance, caching, sizing, scalability, and serviceability.
• Creating technical architecture documentation.
• Working with the QA lead to define the test strategy.
• Leading DevOps to define and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensuring that implementations meet non-functional requirements.
• Traveling a significant amount of the time, spending time on-site during the inception phase and when providing training and workshops.

Requirements:

• Professional experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns and Frameworks.
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and platforms.
• Understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Micro-Services Architecture.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, MVC patterns, and principles of REST APIs (OpenAPI).
• Extensive knowledge of the Java platform.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Self-sufficiency as a Solutions Architect and ability to manage clients/stakeholders.
• Broad, operational knowledge of application servers, databases, load balancers, and other infrastructure components.
