Senior System Engineer

Backbase is seeking a Senior System Engineer to contribute to reusable artifacts and best practices. The Senior System Engineer will mentor colleagues and participate in R&D and Services interactions. This role involves advising on the Backbase product in projects, with implementation done by clients or system integration partners. The role requires approximately 50% travel to meet with people worldwide.

As a consultant, the Senior System Engineer will take ownership of projects, enabling customers to set up their environments from test to production. They will analyze customer situations, needs, and existing setups, providing documented guidelines for implementation, advice on security standards, and performance optimization. The engineer will design, develop, and oversee the implementation of solutions to improve the stability, scalability, availability, and latency of the product, collaborating with R&D teams based on customer and partner input.
