Job Description
Ethos is seeking a Corporate Finance Senior Manager/Director to join their Finance & Strategy Team. This role involves defining the company’s financial plan, providing decision support to cross-functional partners, and performing market research. The ideal candidate will play a key role in scaling the corporate finance and FP&A functions, driving financial planning processes, and developing strategic analyses. This position offers high visibility across the executive team and the opportunity to solve complex challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.
Role Involves:
- Driving decision making related to unit economics and customer acquisition.
- Developing and maintaining financial and operational plans.
- Applying a data-driven analytical approach to influence decision making.
- Building and scaling the corporate finance function.
- Assisting in investor relations and supporting fundraising efforts.
- Collaborating with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Partnership teams.
- Developing and monitoring critical financial performance metrics.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of consulting, investment banking, and/or private equity / growth equity.
- 2+ years of operational experience at a high-growth technology company.
- Best-in-class excel skills and experience in developing financial models.
- Ability to flex between strategic thinking and analytical problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
- Deep understanding of valuation methods and strong working knowledge of GAAP.
- A degree in a quantitative field.
