Job Description
Ethos is seeking an Index Universal Life (IUL) Sales Specialist to confidently guide customers through the IUL insurance buying process. The IUL Sales Specialist will educate customers on how IULs work and which products are best suited for specific situations. They will provide a world-class customer experience by ensuring transparency. The IUL Sales Specialist will be responsible for outreach to customers that begin an application on Ethos' site, assist customers with their application, and guide customers through the final journey of purchasing the policy once they’ve been approved for coverage.
Role involves:
- Engaging potential customers through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and SMS
- Educating customers on Ethos’ products and processes
- Uncovering and understanding an individual’s needs through in-depth discovery
- Building relationships and instilling trust with customers
- Managing a pipeline of customers and performing follow-up
- Iterating and improving upon workflows and outreach strategies
- Driving referral activity by creating positive customer experiences
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in life insurance telesales experience
- Strong proficiency working with Salesforce or equivalent sales/CRM software
- Strong sales track record and exceptional sales techniques
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changes quickly
- Excellent communication skills including strong phone presence
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
Ethos offers:
- A full-time remote position
- On target earnings (OTE) range for this full-time position is $70,000-200,000
- W-2 hourly base pay plus commissions
