Controllership Analyst

Job Description

Nubank is seeking a Controllership Analyst to join its team in Bogota, Colombia. The Controllership team focuses on technological innovation to automate processes and values smart efficiency. This role is within Product Control, contributing to trustworthy financial information for existing and upcoming products.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare statutory financial statements and execute financial controls.
• Review monthly trial balances and prepare reconciliations.
• Analyze large datasets using tools like SQL, Scala, or Python.
• Support preparation for regulatory reporting (XBRL and SFC Reports).
• Prepare documentation for internal and regulatory audits.
• Support execution of financial controls (SOX, Entity level controls).
• Work with SAP for booking, extracting reports, and creating views.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with IFRS knowledge and Financial Institutions experience.
• 4-5 years of accounting experience with reconciliations, depreciation, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in SAP implementation.
• Experience with IFRS.
