Job Description
AirTrunk is seeking a Connectivity Manager to join their team in Tokyo, Japan. This role is crucial for implementing the connectivity strategy for the Japanese market and acting as the key interface between carriers, customers, and the internal team. The Connectivity Manager will drive relationships between customers, carriers, and the AirTrunk team, ensuring alignment with customer and market requirements.
Role involves:
- Implementing connectivity strategy for the Japanese market.
- Working with the design team on telco site master planning.
- Implementing strategy for subsea Cable Landing Station solution.
- Maintaining AirTrunk fibre route data base.
- Building strong relationships with telecommunication providers and customer connectivity teams.
- Translating customer requirements into a roadmap for the business.
- Coordinating with site operations teams to onboard carriers.
- Supporting the Customer Success and Solutions team for RFPs.
- Supporting the Site Selection team for fibre and connectivity solutions.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience and relationship with carriers, service providers, and telcos within the APAC region, mainly in Japan.
- Bachelor’s Degree in telecoms engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English and Japanese.
- Customer-centric approach.
- Ability to prepare reports and deliver effective presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
- Proficiency in AutoCad is preferred.
