Regulatory Compliance Manager

Job Description

A company is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to assist and report to the HQ’s legal/compliance team on local regulatory compliance issues for the China market. The role involves assisting with regulatory compliance matters, developing and implementing internal regulatory compliance policies, and maintaining a regulatory library. The Regulatory Compliance Manager will also assist with the legal review of advertising materials, create training materials, and coordinate with various teams on corporate documentation and contract matters.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with regulatory compliance matters in areas such as marketing, advertising, consumer protection, and China Labor Law.
• Develop and implement internal local regulatory compliance policies.
• Maintain a regulatory library and stay up-to-date on local regulatory developments.
• Assist with the legal review of advertising and marketing materials.
• Create and conduct compliance training for internal stakeholders.
• Report to HQ’s Legal/Compliance on ongoing tasks and potential risk factors.
• Coordinate with HQ’s Legal/Company Secretarial team on corporate documentation.
• Coordinate with HQ’s Legal/Contract team and local Finance team on company chop usage.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related working experience in regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related legal field.
• High ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Well-organized, analytical-minded, and attention to detail.
• Strong legal research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Simplified Chinese.
• Immediate availability preferred.
