Digital Assets Trading Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Flow Traders is seeking a Digital Assets Trading Reliability Engineer to join their Digital Assets Tech Ops team in Hong Kong. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of Flow Traders' digital assets trading systems across both CeFi and DeFi environments. This role involves collaborating with traders, developers, and performance engineers to drive continuous improvement in a global team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the reliability and performance of CeFi and DeFi trading production landscape
• Collaborating with traders, performance engineers, and infrastructure teams to resolve bottlenecks
• Supporting connectivity onboarding for new exchanges and counterparties
• Monitoring and troubleshooting trading-critical applications and infrastructure
• Contributing to observability, operability, and scalability solutions
• Implementing and improving automated monitoring, alerting, and deployment pipelines
• Gathering and analyzing system metrics and logs
• Enhancing the reliability of software and trading infrastructure through automation and system tuning
• Improving the stability, security, and efficiency of trading operations
• Contributing to the development of internal tooling and automation

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Reliability Engineering, SRE, or Production Support
• Programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go
• Expertise with Unix/Linux environments
• Interest in cryptocurrencies, blockchain technologies, or DeFi trading protocols
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, multicast, etc.)
• Security-first mindset
• Problem-solving mindset
• Good communication skills
• Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and improve continuously
