Flow Traders is seeking a Graduate Trader to join their Amsterdam team. What the role involves:
  • Participating in an extensive 3-month training program in Amsterdam.
  • Learning about Flow Traders' core business, financial products, and trading processes.
  • Attending trading simulations and quantitative classes led by Senior Traders and Quantitative Researchers.
  • Collaborating with fellow graduate traders on a team project.
  • Being assigned to an established trading desk based on skills and interests.
  • Monitoring markets and making split-second decisions to contribute to desk profitability.

Requirements:
  • University degree in (quantitative) Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or related field.
  • Demonstrable interest in trading and global financial markets.
  • Understanding of financial products.
  • Proficiency in Excel and an interest in IT systems and development languages.
  • Ability to deliver under pressure with excellent mental arithmetic and analytical skills.
  • Ability to spot opportunities and the assertiveness to seize them.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
