Senior Engineering Manager, Ecosystems

Job Description

Postman is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Ecosystems to lead a team of engineers in building scalable and reliable features for the company's ecosystem platform. This role involves fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, driving the vision and execution of the product roadmap, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused features.Postman is the world’s leading API platform, used by more than 40 million developers and 500,000 organizations, including 98% of the Fortune 500.What this role involves:

• Hiring, managing, mentoring, and coaching a team of engineers.
• Coordinating the technical design and execution of complex features.
• Owning the engineering roadmap for Ecosystem.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, product, and design teams.
• Ensuring the reliability and performance of Ecosystem products.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer, with 5+ years in an engineering management or leadership role.
• Experience building and launching ecosystem features, platform extensibility, developer tooling and/or products for external technical audiences.
• Proven experience leading teams in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Strong background in backend or frontend development (experience with React, Java a plus).
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor engineers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
