Research Partner

Job Description

Turing, based in Palo Alto, California, is seeking a Research Partner to join their team. Turing is an AI company that helps customers by working with AI labs to advance model capabilities and build AI systems for Fortune 500 companies and government institutions. The Research Partner will work with leading AI research labs, understand complex problems, and craft solutions that drive sales forward.

Role Involves:

• Providing technical support during the sales process.
• Engaging with researchers and engineers from leading AI labs.
• Designing complex solutions that address the client’s specific research goals.
• Interfacing with procurement and legal teams to facilitate the sales process.
• Relaying customer feedback and insights to internal teams.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest developments in AI research and data annotation methodologies.

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in either advanced AI research or data annotation.
• Experience in a pre-sales engineer, solutions architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Excellent ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research teams and business objectives.
• U.S.-based candidate who is able to travel occasionally to the SF Bay Area.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML or a related field.
• Mid-level experience in the field (approximately 3-7 years in relevant roles).
• A genuine interest in artificial general intelligence and the future of AI.
