Job Description
Bitpanda is seeking a Strategic Finance Specialist to contribute to financial excellence and strategic decision-making. The role involves creating and assessing business cases, managing purchase orders, supporting month-end closing, and serving as a financial counterpart for performance accounts and business areas. The Specialist will enhance financial models and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate business cases for strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to financial modelling efforts, including forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Support month-end closing processes, including accruals and journal entries.
- Enhance reporting packages and dashboards.
- Serve as a finance business partner to functional teams.
- Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experienced FP&A Specialist or Controller with 3–5+ years of experience.
- Proven track record in building business cases and supporting operational decision-making.
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable with PO systems and financial closing processes.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and planning tools (e.g. Anaplan).
- Familiarity with large datasets and basic SQL is a plus.
